Finance Business Partner, IT Costs | Private Bank | £80,000 - £95,000 | London | Hybrid working – 3 days in You’re 4-6 years post qualified and looking to turbocharge your career; you want to challenge yourself in a high performing business steeped in history. A highly esteemed Private Bank based in London is looking for a IT Cost Business Partner to report into Head of Business Partnering. They are going through a huge bank-wide IT overhaul and modernisation, increasing their IT Cost base from £20m to £50m and their FTE headcount has grown from 20% to 50% of their workforce.
You will need to have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders across the business/project, including finance and non-finance staff. Drive efficiencies to improve financial reporting and control within the Project management space for the bank. You will partner with the Transformation, Technology and PMO teams to deliver the Change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partner senior stakeholders providing insight into future initiatives and strategic direction for the project(s)
- Understand the end to end impact of Technology across the bank
- Build out a new top down control model and budget to aid with transformation reporting
- Drive non staff cost savings to the bank with suppliers
- Providing financial/commercial insight in an ever-evolving environment
- Ownership of project budgets
Key experience required for this role:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
- Experience working under IS38 (intangible assets) would be beneficial, mainly software & projects
- The ability to manage multiple tasks within a strict timetable.
- CapEx and OpEx experience is advantageous, although not essential
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Be comfortable around large data sets
- The ability to influence both junior and c-suite level staff
- The ability to manage a high workload and prioritise effectively
The Finance Business Partner is paying £80,000 - £95,000 + 20% pension + bens + bonus and is offering immediate starts.
