Dutch speaking Financial Controller, West End, Media, £85-90,000

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Dutch speaking Finance Controller with real variety within a fast growing operating company of a large Media Plc. Working in a team of 7 leading 4 people you will lead financial control for the agency and also work closely with the Consultants on new business pricing and revenue to maximize margins.
 
Responsibilities:

• Consolidation of Group monthly results (seven entities) and cashflow (four entities). Providing clear analysis around results and any variances to budget. Ensuring all balance sheet reviews are done prior to submission.
• Working closely with the department MDs to help them achieve targets and ensuring that they have a clear view of the financial health of their department.
• Primary contact for certain key clients and assisting team with any client challenges.
• Oversight of new projects - ensuring contracts are signed prior to starting work, budget sheets are set and maintained, revenue recognition is appropriate, and costs are closely managed.
• Resourcing/billability oversight - working with MDs to solve any crunches and highlighting if we are forecasting to overburn.
• Financial lead on all pitches / budget repurposes - assessing project profitability and ensuring that work is costed appropriately.
• Oversight of a team of four, with direct line management of two (Senior Management Accountant & Project Accountant). Responsible for objective-setting, coaching and development

Required Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Hands on financial and management accounting experience in either a small or small to medium sized business
• Experience of working in a fast paced fast growing enterprise
• Controls and process improvement experience
• Simple Communication style
• Fun to have around
• Proactive and organized approach
