About the Role
A great interim position for a Qualified Accountant, with management accounts and business partnering experience, to join a sports business for 3-6 months. The role is due to progression within the finance team and therefore could become permanent.
 
You will be coming in to support the Financial Controller with the management accounts production, and provide commercial analysis to internal stakeholders.
 
Responsibilities:
Management Accounts

• Lead in the delivery of monthly management accounts within given deadlines, including posting month-end accruals, prepayments.
• Take responsibility for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow, together with insightful commentary into relevant variances against plan.

 
Finance Business Partnering

• Providing constructive commentary on monthly and year-to-date performance of the business, including analysis of variances to plan.
• Assist with 2025 reforecast.
• Business partnering with internal stakeholders.
• Assisting with annual budget and quarterly forecasts.

 
Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with post qualified experience

 
Required Skills

• Experience in business partnering.
• Extensive background in Management Accounts
• Great communication skills across people at all levels and the ability to build good relationships with stakeholders.
• Responsible for having the conversations and driving decisions with senior stakeholders.
• A level of personal drive that seeks ways of improving processes for the better or more simply.
• Attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
• Sage Intacct is preferred but not essential.

 
Pay range and compensation package
£350 - £400 per day (umbrella) or £65,000 - £70,000
