Finance Assistant - Global PR Group - Paying £28,000 + Study Support (Must be Immediately Available A dynamic and forward-thinking communications consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Finance Assistant to join its growing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the early stages of their finance career who is looking to build solid foundations in a fast-paced, creative, and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities: - Assist with daily financial operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank transactions and support month-end closing activities
- Prepare and process invoices and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner
- Support with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial workflows
- Check and set up new suppliers on Paprika accounting software in line with approval process
- Ensure that weekly outward payments are made in accordance with payment terms
- Chase outstanding debt in accordance with payment terms
- Post daily receipts to the sales ledger on Paprika accounting software
- Ensure that sales invoices are raised in line with revenue and supporting client approvals and agreements are in place
Requirements: - Recent Degree in Accounting & Finance or Economics
- A keen interest in finance with a desire to pursue a professional qualification (study support provided)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn financial systems
- Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Some prior experience in a finance or administrative role (preferred but not essential)
- Minimum 1+ years Financial Experience
- Paprika Software experience a plus but not essential
- Ability to work in a proactive, fast-paced environment; be flexible and responsive
- Ability to work in a team across a number of projects and initiatives
- Proactive and instinctive in assisting senior team members
- Motivated to be successful, both as an individual and as part of a team
- Ambitious with a desire to learn
