Finance Officer, International Development Organisation, £32,000, Central London A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to join the UK office of a highly respected international development charity. This is a brilliant role for someone with around one year of finance experience in the non-profit sector, looking to grow their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Reporting into the Programme Finance Manager, you’ll help with a range of finance tasks including processing payments, supporting financial monitoring, and managing documentation. You’ll also work closely with internal teams and partners to make sure financial processes run smoothly and accurately.

Key responsibilities: - Assist with day-to-day finance processing, including payments and record-keeping
- Support with monitoring spend and keeping finance trackers up to date
- Help manage financial documentation and agreements
- Assist with regular finance checks and reconciliations
- Respond to finance-related queries from internal teams and partners
- Support with preparation of reports and audit information
- Help maintain strong financial controls and good practice across the team
About you: - At least one year of experience in a finance role within a charity or non-profit organisation
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
- Comfortable using Excel and learning new finance systems
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with different teams
- Organised, proactive, and eager to learn
- Interested in developing a career in charity finance, ideally working towards (or planning to study) ACCA, CIMA, or similar
