Finance Business Partner, IT Costs | Private Bank | £80,000 - £95,000 | London | Hybrid working – 3 days in
  
You’re 4-6 years post qualified and looking to turbocharge your career; you want to challenge yourself in a high performing business steeped in history. You’re analytical and understand how data is playing a bigger role in finance than it has before. You have great commercial, partnering and cost analysis skills and enjoy working with senior stakeholders in a highly visible team.
  
This is a high-impact role designed to support a major technology strategy focused on modernising the tech stack and delivering efficiency across operations. You’ll work closely with Technology, Supplier Management, and Transformation teams to optimise costs, automate reporting, and ensure financial transparency across cloud migration, AI integration, and digital transformation initiatives.
  
You will need to have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders across the business/project, including finance and non-finance staff. Drive efficiencies to improve financial reporting and control within the Project management space for the bank. You will partner with the Transformation, Technology and PMO teams to deliver the Change.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to Technology and Supplier Management teams.
  • Build and manage cost models for subscription-based, usage-based, and outcome-based payment structures.
  • Automate financial processes including invoicing, accruals, and resource reporting.
  • Support contract negotiations and supplier performance tracking using data analytics.
  • Deliver dynamic business cases and financial insights to senior leadership.
  • Track and evaluate project benefits across transformation initiatives.
  • Horizon scan for emerging tech trends to drive cost efficiency and innovation.
  
Key experience required for this role:
  
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Deep understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cost structures
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks within a strict timetable.
  • CapEx and OpEx experience is advantageous, although not essential
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Be comfortable around large data sets
  • The ability to influence both junior and c-suite level staff
  • The ability to manage a high workload and prioritise effectively
  
The Finance Business Partner is paying £80,000 - £95,000 + 20% pension + bens + bonus.
