Senior FP&A Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-growth environment and play a key role in driving strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Reporting directly to the
Head of FP&A, and working within a lean, high-performing team of five, this role offers significant exposure to both the
Senior Leadership Team and
Private Equity stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with finance leaders across central and international teams, contributing to the group's financial performance, reporting, and long-term strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage spend tracking and cost control across business units.
- Ensure compliance with financial governance processes and deliver timely input into monthly and quarterly reporting cycles.
- Maintain detailed cost analysis by spend category, delivering clear visibility of HQ and regional costs.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and external stakeholder updates.
- Produce comprehensive variance analyses against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities early.
- Support the consolidation and delivery of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans (5YP).
- Provide robust financial insights to support business partners and operational teams in strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to monthly business reviews, quarterly updates, and board reporting.
- Coordinate month-end communications with local teams to ensure timely and accurate financial submissions.
- Manage the budget change control process, ensuring transparency and early identification of material risks.
Candidate Profile Core Capabilities and Experience - Proven experience leading and improving FP&A processes within large, matrixed organisations.
- Strong track record in financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Highly analytical with the ability to deliver clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, solution-focused approach and strong integrity.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and managing competing priorities.
- Skilled in identifying key business risks and developing mitigation strategies in partnership with leadership teams.
- Degree-educated with a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
Desirable Experience - Previous experience working in a complex, matrixed organisation of comparable scale, ideally within the Media or Private Equity industries.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire confidence and build credibility across central and local finance teams.
