Working for a growing SME business, you will join at the final stages of a systems implementation.

The company have invested in a systems upgrade to move them away from Sage. The new system is less known and therefore they are open to the systems you have worked with before.
  
It’s important you have a good grounding in finance and accountancy alongside finance systems and project experience, ideally you will have worked on a recent system implementation.
  
The system is due to go live shortly and you will join to help lead this final stage. Key is the post go-live training and support so the business has new reports that are more efficient and value-add.  
  
Your responsibilities
  • To lead the final stages of a new accounting system implementation
  • Working closely with the FD to design new reports for accounting and finance.
  • Describe how the software will be set up to meet the Groups chart of accounts, user roles and customer reporting needs
  • Detail the steps for final testing
  • Define the support structure and duration after the go live date to address issues
  • Experience with intercompany, various currencies and bank accounts.
  • Liaising with external consultants.
  • Lead post go-live process improvement and provide training to transition knowledge.
  
Skills & Experience
  • Systems accounting implementation experience
  • Good knowledge of end to end accounting
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
  • Good business partnering and communication skills internally and externally
  • You will be a problem solver with initiative and drive to meet the project deadlines.
