Financial Associate - Investment Banking - £40k-£45k + Benefits - 5 days London Office

We are seeking a Finance Associate for an Investment Bank. A major multinational financial services company providing asset and wealth management are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team. This role will be 5 days in their London Office.
  
This is the perfect opportunity for a recent grad with relevant internship experience looking to develop their career in a fast moving environment.
  
Key Responsibilities
  
  • Process and post supplier invoices into the accounting system
  • Prepare and carry out weekly/monthly payment runs
  • Liaise with managers for invoice approvals
  • Resolve supplier queries and reconcile statements
  • Generate customer invoices within the accounting system
  • Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely payments
  • Support credit control processes when needed
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end closing processes
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure ledgers are current
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the wider finance team
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives
  
Key Requirements
  
  • Previous experience in a similar finance or ledger-based role
  • Competency in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel is ideal but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualification (or currently studying) is desirable but not essential
  • Must have a recent degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
