About the Role You’ll take ownership of an established fund and this role blends financial management with strategic input, investor engagement, and hands-on support for transactions and asset management initiatives.
You’ll work closely with internal teams—investment, tax, and central functions—as well as external partners, ensuring smooth operations and insightful reporting.
What You’ll Be Doing - Preparing quarterly investor reports, annual accounts, valuations, and returns—with support from internal colleagues and third-party administrators.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly and year end close processes, including reconciliation of balance sheet items.
- Monthly review or preparation of cash flow forecasts and identifying funding requirements, including drawdowns and repayment of the fund's debt facility.
- Manage the relationship with external auditors
- Supporting the investment programme and monitoring portfolio construction.
- Identifying and driving value-enhancing initiatives alongside the investment team.
- Representing the fund at investor meetings and committees.
What You’ll Bring - Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ICAS, ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience working in a listed trust is key!
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Comfortable mentoring colleagues and managing projects.
- Service-oriented and confident engaging with investors and external partners.
- Commercially aware, organised, and resilient under pressure.
