A world - leading Financial Services trading group are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a fast‑paced, international trading environment as an Accounts Assistant. You’ll be part of a busy corporate accounting team working closely with colleagues across finance, treasury, reporting, and trade accounting functions
What You’ll Be Doing: - Collating month‑end reports and updating internal databases
- Posting ad‑hoc purchase invoice journals
- Interest postings, and reporting on bonds and guarantees
- Monitoring debtor balances and following up on outstanding items
- Cash matching and unmatching, including bad debt provision postings
- Supporting monthly intercompany reconciliations and resolving mismatches
- Assisting with VAT checks, matching and reconciliations
- Preparing and posting contingency and storage premium costs
- Assisting with annual audit evidence collation
What You’ll Bring - Recent graduate or part‑qualified and working toward accounting exams
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Numerically strong with good analytical ability
- A collaborative team player
- Resilient and adaptable
- Proactive, with the confidence to suggest improvements
- Able to multitask and prioritise effectively
